The Kingdom of Florida

I'm very Pro-Florida. Out of all the states, FL has great weather, loads of entertainment, and people that always give the internet a new story to tell.

Sometimes, I like to fantazise about Florida seceding from the union and becoming the Kingdom of Florida, the first North American monarchy, and then annexing the entire Caribbean. The monarchy would be constitutional, and the counties/islands will act as fiefs. The Monarchy will not be hereditary, instead, once the King/Queen dies, the barons of each fief will assemble to elect a new ruler. Tallahasee will no longer be the capital; that title will go to Orlando, as it can act as a center hub for all of Florida. But unlike the old feudal systems, this kingdom will aim for technological advancement, and vaporwave/synthwave aesthetics. A Floridian king/queen is one that is guaranteed to earn the will of their people.
